Personal data processing terms

These terms describe how CASHCAR S.R.L., IDNO 1014600039000, registered office: 9/3 Arborilor St., Chișinău, MD-2025, Republic of Moldova (trading as AvtoProkat.MD), processes your data when you send a booking request, contact us or sign a rental agreement. By ticking the consent box in a form or signing the agreement, you confirm that you have read these terms.

1. What you confirm

You confirm that the data you provide is accurate and belongs to you or that you are entitled to provide it, that you have been informed about its processing under the Privacy policy, and that you accept the Rental terms and conditions.

Processing the data needed for a booking and an agreement is based on the contract and on our legal obligations, not on consent. Separate consent is requested only for marketing offers and optional cookies, and not giving it does not prevent you from renting a car.

2. Data processed

• contact details: first and last name, phone, email, messaging account;
• booking details: car, rental period, pick-up place, options and price;
• when signing the agreement: identity document and driving licence details, additional driver details, payment and deposit details;
• during the rental: the car's condition, mileage, GPS tracking data (where fitted), information about accidents, damage and fines;
• technical data: IP address, date and time the form was sent.

3. Purposes

• processing and confirming the booking;
• concluding, performing and extending the rental agreement;
• checking driver requirements and preventing fraud;
• meeting accounting and tax obligations and obligations towards authorities;
• handling incidents, damage and fines, dealing with insurers;
• defending the Company's rights;
• sending offers, only if you ticked the separate marketing consent box.

4. Obligation to provide data

Your name and phone number are needed to process the request. Identity document and driving licence details are needed to conclude the agreement. If you do not provide them, we cannot proceed with the booking or the rental.

5. Data about other people

If you give us the details of an additional driver or another person, you confirm that you are entitled to do so and that you have informed them about these terms and the Privacy policy.

6. Recipients and transfers

Data may be shared with providers acting on our behalf (site hosting and administration, email, GPS system, accounting), with insurers and with public authorities where the law requires it. Some providers may process data outside the Republic of Moldova, with the safeguards required by Law No. 195/2024. The full list is in the Privacy policy.

7. Retention

Unfinished requests are kept for up to 12 months. Agreements and related documents are kept for the periods required by accounting and tax law and for the limitation period. Data used for offers is kept until you withdraw consent.

8. Your rights

You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection, and the right to withdraw your consent to offers at any time. Requests go to [email protected] and are answered within one month at the latest. You can lodge a complaint with the National Center for Personal Data Protection (datepersonale.md).

9. Withdrawing consent to offers

You can stop receiving offers at any time by writing to [email protected], calling +373 78 333 101 or replying to the message you received. Withdrawal does not affect existing bookings or agreements.

10. Proof of consent

We keep the date and time the box was ticked, the version of these terms, the page language and an anonymised part of your IP address, so we can show how you were informed.
